ree

The November issue of AMP Arkansas Money & Politics featured Steven Head, Partner and Geotechnical Department Head at MCE. Over his sixteen years of experience, Head has worked closely on numerous projects across Arkansas, including the Alice Walton School of Medicine (Bentonville), Northwest Arkansas Children’s Hospital (Springdale), Southwest Springdale Junior High School (Springdale), and many others. His expertise has been widely recognized across the industry, and he was recently honored as Engineer of the Year by ASCE Arkansas, a testament to the impact of his work and the strength he brings to MCE.

Titled “More Than Bricks & Sticks,” the article by Alex Hardgraves explores the evolving future of construction, engineering, and architecture. Hardgraves interviewed several professionals across Arkansas for their perspectives, including Steven Head of MCE. While Head recognizes that finding qualified individuals can be challenging, he remains optimistic about the emerging talent entering the field.

“Things shift over time,” Steven said. “It’s cyclical. We’re certainly in an employee-driven market. I expect that to continue, so we need to watch for how we can attract and retain the best folks.”

Steven believes that MCE’s work throughout Arkansas strengthens the firm and attributes much of its continued success to the dedication and knowledge of its people. He is excited to continue building and expanding partnerships across the state.
