Digging in at AWW/WEA

Our team recently attended the AWW/WEA Conference, where water and wastewater professionals from our Fayetteville, Rogers, Little Rock, Fort Smith, and Benton offices participated in a variety of professional development sessions. The conference, hosted in Hot Springs from April 26–28, provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen technical knowledge, stay current on industry trends, and collaborate across offices.

Positioned alongside the exhibitor booths, our team had a front-row view of one of the conference’s most engaging attractions: a hands-on equipment challenge featuring full-scale construction trucks. Attendees tested their precision by using a claw attachment to maneuver small balls through a sand pit and into a narrow tube, highlighting both the skill and coordination required in the field.
Adding to the event’s energy, Max Hicks took on the honorary role of “Sludge Shoveler,” donning a top hat and collecting donations in support of Water For People, bringing enthusiasm and awareness to an important cause within the industry.

In addition to conference activities, we hosted our annual fish fry at Crystal Ridge Distillery, welcoming more than 100 clients and partners. The event provided a relaxed setting to connect, strengthen relationships, and show appreciation for the communities we serve.
The AWW/WEA Fish Fry is an event we look forward to hosting each year. It’s an excellent opportunity to spend time with clients and partners, get to know them better, and say thank you.
We look forward to our Summer AML Fish Fry later this summer in Little Rock.
