Landscape architecture encompasses the design of outdoor spaces, taking advantage of natural site conditions that enhance the environment while achieving environmental and positive aesthetic outcomes. MCE’s landscape architecture team has extensive experience in providing design services to a variety of client types including private, commercial development clients; residential and multi-family housing development clients; and municipal clients for streetscapes, downtown enhancements, trails and parks, and recreation facilities.

MCE designs for a variety of settings including educational, retail, urban, and suburban areas. We take great care in material selection, including hardscapes and plant materials, with an emphasis on native plant selection to achieve attractive designs with affordable, effective life-cycle costs. We incorporate low-impact development strategies to reduce life-cycle costs and to benefit the surrounding environment.
